Shiffrin
Selections, Ltd. is a licensed distributor of fine wines in Pennsylvania
and Delaware.
We provide a diversified inventory of unique wines from select vineyards
crafted by artisan winemakers for distribution to fine restaurants, hotels,
retail wine and spirits shops and other members of the hospitality industry
in Pennsylvania and Delaware. We carry limited-allocation vineyard-designated
reserve wines.
Shiffrin Selections provides a service to the smaller winemaker and to consumers
alike by maintaining a distribution channel that affords buyers greater
choices among labels in our marketplace.
Restaurants: We are dedicated to providing prompt, responsive service
in order placement and delivery. Shiffrin is anxious to see its customers
thrive. To that end, our knowledgeable principals are available to conduct
tasting seminars for wait staff to enhance their familiarity with our wines.
Shiffrin helps organize special events at restaurants and "winemaker
dinners" as our vintners' travel schedules permit. Shiffrin representatives
are interested in opportunities to assist customers in developing their
wine lists. Shiffrin also participates in special promotional programs and
local events that strengthen the role of the hospitality industry in responding
to community needs.
Vintners: Shiffrin Selections acts as the local representative for
vintners in Pennsylvania and Delaware for promotion, sale, order processing,
and distribution for wholesale and retail customers. Additionally, we provide
assistance in and register your wines in compliance with state regulatory
agencies. We are both BATF and PLCB licensed and carry in excess of $1,000,000
in insurance coverage.
Shiffrin Selections is dedicated to ensuring that the fine wines it carries
are handled with proper care. Our consolidator for shipment is Garrison
Transportation, a wine and spirits transportation specialist that owns its
vehicles and temperature controlled trailers. We store our wines in a high-quality
bonded third-party warehouse.
